Margaret Pimm was approached by amateur photographer Anthony Wright in a Toronto department store in August 1965 and asked if she would pose for him in an indecent motion picture. Ms. Pimm feigned interest, and then went straight to the Toronto police. She agreed to wear a wire and go undercover for the Canuck cops, who fitted her brassiere with a small transmitter. Pimm went to Wright's home, where he had set up movie equipment in the shower to make a stag film of Ms. Pimm dancing. Sneaking away briefly, Pimm whispered the code word "cardigan" into her bra and police arrested the suspect.
The true story is reported by the Calgary Herald in November 1, 1966 under the headline "Bugged Bra Tips Police to Stag Film"
