Bettie Page Meet the Girls The Rare Digests Number 29 in the Series See them All

This entry in The Rare Digests series is one of the R. Lawrence / Riviera Pin-Up Corp. "Meet the Girls" line of smut "published" under the ruse of "art studies for students" but were mostly just way to show some boobs at a time boobs were against the law, more or less.

That the some of the boobs happened to be part of Bettie Page was a lucky accident for Mr. Lawrence indeed.

Other "girls" you can "meet" in this issue are Caroll Jean, Ronnie Marchall and Gisele Kerune.  Mr. Lawrence will be happy to sell you 4 x 5 glossy photographs of same...$2.00 for twelve photos.

34 Pages, No date, No copyright...and no class either!   "Meet the Girls" ran at least seven issues, and most likely date to 1956-1957.

Riviera Pin-Up Corp. (such as it was) was located at 39 West 46th Street.  At the time, Bettie Page lived at 65 West 46th Street, directly across the street.

(Yours truly lived on West 46th Street too...and passed both addresses more times than I could count, though my living there was years later...not to suggest it was cleaned up much.  I had 5 years of hookers, then a good year, then crack hit the nabe so I had five years of crack hookers, then it cleaned up again for good.  In fact, TOO good.  The once dicey neighborhood has now been so neutered there is little to fear...but even less to see.)
