Greatest Moments in Vintage Sleaze #8 Lenny does Legs, Bilbrew does Drawing

Leonard Burtman debuts his new slick Leg Show...but unfortunately without a date! I think Lenny hoped the magazine would have "legs" of it's own...that is, to stay on the magazine racks for years looking fresh. Hence, no issue date. "Yah...that one's NEW Mac, it came in just yesterday!"

Additionally, there was no subscription blank, though he hoped it would be bi-monthly.

Circa 1960 - 1963, as it was published by Selbee, the corporation for all things black stocking he formed with Benny Himmel.

Most notable is the illustration shown here, in which African-American fetish cartoonist Gene Bilbrew was apparently commissioned to draw up the perfect
target market for the new magazine. A man who lives legs but puffs a smoke.

Only time would tell if the market would support this expensive, sumptuous, glorious hunk of fetishistic smut.

Leg Show is actually quite a story, and does in fact have long legs. Just look up Dian Hanson.
