I was fortunate to come across another Vixen Press Book for the Bibliography I published HERE, Moon Kissed by Barry Devlin. So I dug around a bit hoping to fill in the list. We're getting there!
Vixen, still mysterious 50 years and more after publication, remain splendid examples of undervalued and under-rated obscurities from the early sexual underground being created below 14th street around that time. The books, and the incredible story of their production, was partially told in my first post on the publisher. Locating the physical book objects is difficult for two reasons. One, the paper covers are unfortunately better than the book, which were hardbound...so you should only look for those with the covers. The other is that the "action" in the collector's market is for paperback only books...though many of these were later reprinted in pocket form. Vixen was a most interesting small press from the Village at a most interesting time, and hopefully missing gaps will come in one day.
