Mac and Tillie were featured in so many Tijuana Bibles, the little books were often known as "Tillie and Mac books." Tillie came from the popular comic strip Tillie the Toiler. Created in 1921, Tillie was a flapper and was thus already possessing loose morals by the standards of the time, The bible illustrators thus had no problem carrying her activities further. The "real" Tillie is HERE, created by Russ Westover and running for decades. What makes this 8-pager special is that is has 12 pages, and as you can see the size is larger compared to a normal sized version.
