Vintage Sleaze Inglesita? Penny Smith in a Timeless Strip

Today's post proves both the universality of vintage sleaze and poses a universal question: Who is this dame? In Argentina, at some point in the last 75 years, she had talents to aquire TWO names, neither of which I can find any information about, neither can the owner Cynthia of the Cynephile (a BEAUTIFUL and unusually literate and artistic site on film which requires no admission) who found the little booklet in an antique stall in Buenos Aires.

It is identified as "El Strip Tease de Penny Smith" alias "La Inglesita"
One translation dictionary came back with "to dock a horse's tail" which might be close, but I hate to label the sepia stripper with that.

What is going on though is common. "Strip Sets" really took off towards the end of World War Two, when little 6 or 8 pack 3 x 5 photographs were sold under the counter, presumably to let "the boys over there know what they are fighting for." It wasn't unusual for the stripper to begin in a uniform, then strip down to her skivveys. (or "civvies?") The last photo was of course the most revealing. The form was popular enough to last well into the 1960s, when readily available (and more revealing) smut hit the newsstand. Blame Hef for the demise of the dirty deck of snapshots.

I assume a similar thing was going on here in the land of the gaucho, but can some simpatico sleaze tell us who this senorita is? It takes two to tango, but only one to strip. The clock, by the way, is a painted prop...but then is there a bad time to undress?
